The blue version of the chair is now available in the Imported Model browser window and can be added to Projects. Let's imagine that you make the chair blue later on and save it in a different Project file ( Project B). The green chair is available in the Imported Model browser window and can be added to Projects. This model will be saved locally on your PC in the following folder:Įvery time you re-import the chair model, or change its materials/textures in Lumion, the model files in Documents/Lumion (Version)/Library will be overwritten.Įxample: If you import a green chair, place it in a Project and save a Project file ( Project A), a "snapshot" of the current state of the (green) chair will be included in the Project file. Well, let's say you import a chair from SketchUp. In Lumion, Imported Models are saved in a special folder that exists outside of the Project.Įvery time you add an Imported Model to a Project, it is a reference to the files in this folder.
